چکیده

Removal of contaminants emerging concern (CEC) from water is a serious problem. Using sunlight to assist in this process one the most sustainable methods for treatment. In study, we demonstrate that tailoring morphology and optimizing metal concentration multicomponent catalysts through an appropriate synthetic strategy leads Fenton-like photo-Fenton-like systems capable effectively degrading bisphenol A coumarin as model endocrine disruptors probe •OH detection. Multicomponent Cu-Mn-Fe silica supported were prepared via direct synthesis by incorporating magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles, Mn Cu during formation nanoparticles with interparticle mesoporosity. Comprehensive characterization advanced microscopic spectroscopic techniques revealed qualitatively quantitatively presence Fe oxides covered support, isolated cations/oxo species into framework CuO particles attached framework. The activities are due catalytic disproportionation H2O2 Cu2+ support. investigated efficient concerning homolytic cleavage hydroxyl radicals, further positive effect radical observed under visible-light illumination thus acting catalysts. properties used easy separation catalyst/photocatalyst after reaction do not contribute catalytic/photocatalytic performance.

Heterogeneous Pd catalysts supported on silica matrices

Palladium catalysts deposited over different types of silica (amorphous silica, mesoporousmolecular sieves, solids obtained by co-condensation of silicate precursors and many others) modified with suitable donor moieties have gained enormous importance due to their wide application as catalysts for cross-coupling and other synthetically useful organic reactions. This work provides an overview o...

Well-defined silica-supported olefin metathesis catalysts.

Two triethoxysilyl-functionalized N-heterocyclic carbene ligands have been synthesized and used to prepare the corresponding second-generation ruthenium olefin metathesis catalysts. These complexes were then grafted onto silica gel, and the resulting materials were efficient heterogeneous catalysts for a number of metathesis reactions. The solid-supported catalysts were shown to be recyclable o...

Municipal solid waste landfill leachate treatment by fenton, photo-fenton and fenton-like processes: Effect of some variables

Advanced oxidation processes like Fenton and photo-Fenton have been effectively applied to oxidize the persistent organic compounds in solid waste leachate and convert them to unharmful materials and products. However, there are limited data about application of Fenton-like process in leachate treatment. Therefore, this study was designed with the objective of treating municipal landfill leacha...

Comparative Study of Oxidation of Some Azo Dyes by Different Advanced Oxidation Processes: Fenton, Fenton-Like, Photo-Fenton and Photo-Fenton-Like

This study makes a comparison between Fenton, Fenton-like, photo-Fenton and photo-Fenton-like treatment methods to investigate the removal of two acid dyes. The two selected acid dyes are C.I. Acid Orange 8 (AO8) and C.I. Acid Red 17 (AR17). These were chosen as model organic contaminants. The effect of operating parameters, such as amount of Fenton’s reagent (H2O2 and Fe) and Fenton’s-like rea...

IN SITU SILICA SUPPORTED METALLOCENE CATALYSTS FOR ETHYLENE POLYMERIZATION

Bis(2-R-ind)ZrCl2 (R: H or phenyl) was supported on different types of silica by in situ impregnation method and used for ethylene polymerization. In this method, the step of catalyst loading on support was eliminated and common alkyl aluminum (triisobutylaluminum, TiBA) cocatalyst was used instead of expensive methyl aluminiumoxane (MAO) cocatalyst in the polymerization. The effect of surface ...
